Why Choose Epoxy Flooring?

Epoxy flooring is one of the toughest, most versatile floor coatings available. It bonds directly to concrete to create a seamless, high-gloss surface that's resistant to chemicals, stains, impact, and heavy traffic. Whether you're looking to upgrade your garage, protect your warehouse floor, or create a showroom-quality finish in a commercial space, epoxy delivers.

At Wizcrete, we've been installing epoxy flooring systems across Sydney since 2005 — from residential garages in Gordon to large-scale commercial projects like shopping centres and warehouses.

Epoxy Coating Options

Solid Colour Epoxy

Clean, modern, single-colour finish. Available in any colour. Ideal for showrooms, workshops, and garages where a sleek, professional look is desired.

Epoxy Flake (Speckled) Finish

Multi-coloured vinyl chips broadcast into the epoxy for a textured, slip-resistant surface. Hides dirt and imperfections beautifully. Extremely popular for garages and commercial reception areas.

Metallic Epoxy

Stunning, reflective, three-dimensional finishes that create a liquid-metal or marble effect. Perfect for high-end showrooms, retail spaces, and home gyms where aesthetics matter.

Anti-Slip Epoxy

Grip-enhanced epoxy for wet areas, commercial kitchens, ramps, and industrial environments. Combines the durability of epoxy with safety-rated slip resistance.

Urethane Cement

Heavy-duty industrial-grade coating for warehouses, factories, and commercial kitchens. Withstands thermal shock, chemicals, and heavy machinery. Can return to service in 2-3 hours.

Our Epoxy Application Process

1

Surface Preparation

Concrete is diamond-ground to profile the surface. cracks are repaired, and the floor is cleaned thoroughly. This step is critical for a perfect bond.

2

Primer & Base Coat

A penetrating epoxy primer is applied, followed by the base coat in your chosen colour. This builds the foundation of the system.

3

Top Coat & Seal

The final top coat is applied with broadcast chips (if flake finish) and sealed with a high-gloss UV-stable clear coat. Ready for foot traffic in 12-24 hours.

Epoxy Flooring FAQ

How long does epoxy flooring last?

10-20 years depending on traffic and maintenance. Residential garage epoxy lasts 15+ years with basic care.

How long does the epoxy take to install?

A standard 2-car garage takes 2-3 days. Most of that is curing time. You can walk on it the next day and park on it within 48-72 hours.

Can epoxy be applied over old tiles or paint?

Old paint must be removed. Tiles need assessment. We'll advise after inspecting — sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes it needs to come up.

Is epoxy slippery when wet?

Standard epoxy can be slippery. We offer anti-slip additives for garages, outdoor areas, and commercial kitchens.

Can you epoxy a concrete floor that's already cracked?

Yes — we repair and fill cracks before applying the epoxy system. The final finish is seamless and crack-free.
